That is the whole story

Once upon a time there was an average town. It's the only sight was a huge mansion upon a high heel in the suburbs. Its owner was a really bad-tempered person. His name was Ares. He always made everyone’s blood boil. He was arrogant, selfish, greedy and vain. Some citizens used to envy him so they tried to triggered him, to bull him, but they didn’t reach their aim. He bult this giant mansion out of his own pocket. But for a while it was believed that he stole money from the bank and built this house so that no one would confiscate it. When I firstly met him, I didn’t know that. I’ve met him in a small cafe while I was travelling. In that time, Ares used to be absolutely different person. He always erred on the side of caution, but this time we nicely spoke and he even invited me to his home. Of course, I refused because this was too touch-and-go. But I promised to visit him at once. So, when I finally had a chance to visit him, I was really happy. We used to text each other for a long time. But for some weeks he had been in the doldrums so I was a little bit nervous about him. When I saw his mansion all the lights were on. I came into and found a lot of  policemen. They told me that he has been murdered for couple of days. My thoughts were confused at this moment. I was in despair. He left me in the lurch. I was strapped for cash and didn’t have any money. However, when I calmed down I decided to find this murderer. He had to use some ploys. That’s why I pried in police. I have been working as a privet detective for a couple of years and they just couldn’t refuse me. I started to look for some clues but in the police office there always were someone who got my wires crossed. Also, I fell on deaf ears. They didn't even listen to my suggestions! So, I used to collect all the information piecemeal. That was really difficult but when I was told that the witness was found that was music to my ears. I was on the track. After speaking with witness, who was cleaner in Areses' house. I discovered that he (Ares) was given a letter. That information was waylaid. I had to find this letter and fast because someone could have already found it. That was really hard. I've turned the whole mansion upside down. When I finally had this offending letter  I felt this all just plain sailing. It opened my eyes. At drop of hat, I went to the police office and claimed that it might be Emma Harper. In this letter were all the evidence against her. You could just cherry-pick. For example: in case he dies she will inherit all his property. I thought that it was her main motive. Everyone called me budding. I was so proud of myself. When we caught her she was thinly veiled. We had to interrogate her. In the begging she denied everything but after showing the evidences  she gave up. She accepted everything.  She said that she wanted to bask in glory and that she is unsung hero. That she did the right thing by killing him. That he was a spoiled man and his place in the hell. She believed that somehow she won’t go to prison but met her false dawn. Emma Harper was sentenced to ten years in prison. And I got swamped in all papers that should be signed. But my conscience was clear. I did the right thing by sending her to prison.
