Stupor

Pierre steps up to the baseball plate, the sun is shining bright. He lifted up his bat waiting for the right time to swing. The pitcher raises his arm and throws a fast ball. It looks like he was going to hit it but then it curved. SMASH The baseball hits right into Pierre's face, he stumbles back and falls down, he doesn't get back up. He is rushed to the hospital, the doctors say he’s in a coma but it’s more than that.
